safe home to you, fellow freakshow

I'm sitting outside a LaQuinta in South Milwaukee (the cool higway sign read "So Milwaukee" when I exited off the highway), mooching off of their high speed Wifi. I didn't want to wait in the airport parking lot and have about another hour to go until #1BB's plane lands. It was almost a perfect trade off--just a bit off on timing, oh well.

I wish Eli a great trip home. We had fun and there were many great catch phrases that carried us through the trip. Plenty of poop jokes. And the understanding that "sausage is meat." Actually, it is meat. Did you know this? Well, now the guy at the Pittsburgh area Einstein Bros. Bagels shop does too, because I accidentally yelled it at him. There was plenty of swearing as both Eli and I are potty mouths (but I am more so than him.) I suppose next week's car-ride will consist of lots of quiet time and the occassional swear word yelled at the top of my lungs, just to reminisce. We played some really fun shows and by the last show on Wednesday night, the music had really started to shine. I look forward to more music when I get back, so: safe travels, my friend.

Soon a plane will land and I will have a weekend away from the music biz in Door County, WI. Doo Da Lang is getting married tomorrow--craziness! Should be fun!
