Bill Nye

#1BB and I went to a free lecture at JHU last night with Bill Nye (the Science Guy.) He was awesome and informative and funny and clever and everyone loved it. But he had one thing going for him that I think Al Gore might be missing. Bill Nye is walking the walk--his house is solar powered. He had an EV-1 before GM repossessed them all and crushed them. (For more information on that, see the very informative and emotional Who Killed the Electric Car?) He's got a Prius now and on the way home, my mind was mulling over the very real possibility that the time has come that I must get a different car. I've been riding my motobike as much as possible--even today, in the rainy cool weather. But it will get too cold and I will have to carry gear at some point and will need something else.

I read today that Honda is possibly putting out a hybrid Fit. How much would that ROCK? that's the one I really want.
