continued adventures in orthodontia

got fitted again for the plastic retainer, this time, one that fits properly. And because the orthodontist is not banking on me not being a return visitor, i wasn't given a file. As i left the office this afternoon, they handed me the plaster impression of my bottom teeth that they used to make the retainer. i think i used to have one of my upper teeth from way back when, but that's been lost to multiple moves across the country. posessing this one now though, it's really perfect timing, i think. it's kind of spooky, sitting there on my desk.
