me and lyle lovett....oh wait

i realized that i haven't written in a week, dear readers...and for that, i apologize. i've been busy "teaching" (i use the term loosely) a group of 8-11 year olds some music and some theatre and some musical theatre. this job is hard. and it's not even that it's hard. it's just exhausting.

i'm sleepy.

anyway, i went to see lyle lovett play a few weeks ago and waited an hour outside after the show to see if i could tell him how amazing i think he is, how good the show was, and that if he ever needed a back up singer on 'North Dakota' to call me. (Lyle, if you're reading this: CALL ME!!)

anyway, he didn't walk out. instead, he stayed in his trailer, tucked away, out of view. so i snapped this picture of what it would have looked like if we had gotten a picture together. just squint and imagine him right next to me....it almost works. if you've been drinking.
