I played an INCREDIBLE house concert on David's boat a few weeks back. I wish i could do that kind of show every weekend. It was the perfect combination of wonderful location, great sound, attentive, wonderful audience and also i made money! it was so rewarding.

I'm writing you from lovely Northampton, MA. A truly pedestrian town. Grimm and I have been in a coffeehouse most of the afternoon, but i walked around, looking at shops and headed to the post office to mail off another e.c. cd to a happy customer.
Great show last night in Providence, RI. We met really cool people and John, the host of the evening, graciously put us up in his house, saving us much needed $$.
Tonight, we open for the Dig from NYC. I'm really looking forward to this show. It's a club date, so we'll get to rock it for about 45 minutes and then enjoy some good ole rock n roll.
If you're wanting to support this endeavor in any small way, we can use gas and hotel money. Every penny is counting. Feel free to paypal me: kristin@ellencherry.com
I swear, I SWEAR that i will use it for food and not for cds from the indie music shop across the street. Promise.

If you're in that part of MA, you must make a swing to North Adams and check out Mass MOCA -- wonderful artist community!
