living ellen cherry's life can sometimes be a bit a physically trying...all last week, late nights up until 4 and 5 AM having amazing energy despite no sleep and being around amazing musicians, music, energy and light coming from every where. every night last week i was up long enough to hear the birds singing in the trees around the bay as i finally lay down in bed.
in other words: it was totally rad.
however, kristin drove the car home yesterday and kristin has the body that ellen cherry uses and spent 2 full pop songs (the equivalent of at least 8 minutes) jumping up and down on a stage in front of a few thousand people without stopping (my only true dance move). i feel like i fell back to earth and into kristin's life and ellen cherry is still somewhere far away, jumping and staying up late and generally being irresponsible, creative and hilarious somewhere.
still, kristin is glad to be back home amongst the familiar things, even though the house feels alien and the surroundings too. it'll all come back. hopefully before i have to leave again! i'm sure a few loads of laundry will cure everything.
