more daily....less weekly

i feel bad. i know some people actually read this page and i don't post regularly and it's possible that what i do post is a complete waste of your time.

BUT, as i do every Monday, like a new baby, just born into the wicked world: i promise to do better. work harder. be more positive. strive. thrive. write. work.

so, here's some info about music stuff: i'm playing the opening ceremony for the Baltimore Women's Film Fest. i'm really excited about this mostly because i love music in films. in fact, i'm so addicted to listening to the soundtrack first, of any movie, that i often have to go back and watch the damn thing again to see what it was about. and i want to work with more indie filmmakers as i did in the past putting music i create with their wonderful images. so i'm hoping to network! and i hope to see you there. I'm playing with two other local songstresses and best of all: it's free. you have no excuse.

here, read this post for more information. click HERE.

and even better news is that my To Do list, also known as my email Inbox, is slowly getting whittled down. yes, my name is ellen cherry and i'm addicted to storing old messages for no reason. but i'm actually reading the stuff and dealing with it, progress progress!! (i'm only telling you this because my creative brain has real trouble convincing me to do any real administrative work. thus, the lack of upcoming gigs.....but hey, my bathroom's clean(ish))

so, i've read a recent CDBaby update about the ways i can push you to buy more music. or get more of your friends to buy ellen cherry music, so since this is my blog, i'm going to add some ways for you to easily do that. check for the buttons and as always, thanks for your support. hey, the holidays are coming up. what better Halloween gift than an ellen cherry disc?!!!

and now, i feel like there are some presidential debates coming up, is that tonight? well, the problem is that i damaged the TV last week during the Veep debates. i was quoting Mooninite from Aqua Teen Hunger Force every time Palin winked at me. I would run up and shout at her. I've been informed that I'm no longer allowed to watch debates until I can behave myself.

more tomorrow. promise. (yeah, that's worth something!!)
