My friend Michael Schwartz is a doc filmmaker here in B'more and finished his project on stay at home dads. It premieres tomorrow, Sunday, Jan. 25 @ Creative Alliance and M had asked me to record a song he once heard me play at the HON Bar that I had written about my dad. He put the song in the movie (although I think it might be the minus one, without the vox.) ANYWAY, I'm going to be there tomorrow, it starts at 4PM and tickets are only $5 and if you're under 10 years old, you get in for free, wee!!!
It's an interesting topic and I watched the trailer this morning. I'm even more interested now because one of the dads talked about how hard the job is....I'm wondering if there's anyone who will comment further about this job that was stereo-typically assumed to be women's work and how maybe it's changed their opinion or feelings about the work that women do in the world?
Details: Sunday, Jan 25 @ Creative Alliance.
